Gerber has made a considerable donation to Covenant House California (CHC), contributing energy efficient, water-saving plumbing products to be installed in housing projects that will shelter homeless youths in the Los Angeles and surrounding Bay Area of California.
“We are grateful for Gerber’s generosity. Their donation allows Covenant House California to continue to focus its resources on helping abused and neglected youth who have nowhere to go and no one to turn to,” said George R. Lozano, executive director for CHC.
The Covenant House, a non-profit organization, has provided safe housing for homeless youths in California since 1988 and relies heavily on generous contributions from companies such as Gerber.
Gerber’s donation to Covenant House includes eight low-flow bathroom faucets, eight high efficiency toilets, four high efficiency urinals, eight shower valves and eight showerheads. By utilizing the latest technology, the Gerber products donated benefit the environment and provide a sustainable place for children.
