This past October we were truly honored to receive the 2009 National “Turnaround of the Year Award” for a mid-size company by the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), an international non-profit organization with more than 9,000 members who are dedicated to corporate renewal.

Gerber was selected in honor of its strategic revival prior to the acquisition of its assets by Globe Union, to profitable growth in the current global recession. The corporate restructuring was led by Michael Werner who in 2003 took over Gerber and modernized the business while maintaining the long-standing loyalty to the professional trade.

Over the last five years, we have significantly enhanced our manufacturing processes, supply chain and quality systems and created hundreds of new products, including many award-winning green and high performance toilets and faucets. Throughout these extensive changes and improvements, Gerber is proud to say we have maintained our loyalty to the professional channel and work on behalf of the plumbing wholesaler customer base.
